It's always kind of neat to find my opinions officially and unexpectedly reinforced. Darn it. The first bit of this episode of Fear Itself was genuinely creepy, with a neat musical component and some actual suspense. The second bit, it's back to clumsy characterizations and uncreative spooks.

ETA: And silly decisions by the characters. Why is the final girl always necessarily dense?

Wow, up until tonight I haven't actually been disgusted with Fear Itself, but this episode was an exercise in frustration.

I feel obliged at this point to review each Fear Itself just on the off-chance that one of them is really good. This one was all right except in three points: two in concept and one in execution.

Tonight's Fear Itself was better, with decent acting, an extremely interesting set, and a neat audio component, but it was no scarier or more surprising than last week's.
